A body-mind experience whereby the body and mind can optimally unwind.
This massage is performed on a heated massage table. It is a flowing massage with a lot of variation, both in speed and pressure. I apply various massage styles and techniques, tailored to your needs. Meditative music plays in the background to help you relax better and you will smell the lovely scents of essential oils. I will massage your whole body using a natural massage oil. Partial massages of specific body parts are also possible.
Deep tissue massage
A firm massage, whereby we will work on a deeper level so that space is created to free up emotions and energy.
This is a firm form of massaging, whereby the touch is focused on creating more space in the ‘myofascia’. This flexible ‘web’ of connective tissue envelops tendons, muscles and ligaments on multiple levels and connects the entire body. By means of slow, firm and deep massage techniques, accumulated tension and stress can be freed.
A fully clothed, short but effective massage.
Chair massage is an effective way to stay healthy. Onsite chair massages are done while you’re seated fully clothed (so no oil is used), in a portable, specially designed chair. The massage takes about 20 minutes and targets the muscles of the neck, shoulders, back, arms and hands.
The massage relieves the tension in the muscles with kneading and acupressure, it increases circulation, decreases stress and generates more flexibility.
Do you work at the office and do you experience stress? Do you find yourself seated in the same position for long periods of time? Do you suffer from stiff back-, neck and/or shouldermuscles? Try an effective and relaxing chair massage!
A combination between massage and Yoga Nidra. To reach a meditative state of conciousness.
The first part of this session will be a massage. You can choose the parts you’d like to focus on, back and shoulders, legs and feet, you name it. Also, you may choose whether you like a relaxing or a more firm, deep tissue kind of style. One of the effects of a massage is that your body awareness will be enhanced. Which parts of your body feel relaxed and where do you feel tension or tightness? Are you able to let go of that stress just a little bit more?
The second part of the session will be a Yoga Nidra session. Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation that induces full-body relaxation and a deep meditative state of consciousness. It is also practiced lying down, with the aid of blankets and props to comfort and support your body. It is an ancient yogic technique described as “the sleep that awakens pure being.” Yoga Nidra guides you to the twilight place between awake and asleep where ultimate relaxation resides with an invitation to deeply connect with your inner world. Research highlights the effectiveness of Yoga Nidra in improving sleep, balancing the nervous system, healing psychological trauma, and managing chronic pain.
This massage-yoga Nidra combo is a perfect way to shift your awareness from the outside to your inner world. The session can be given in Dutch or English.
A relaxing and soothing massage for you and your baby.
When pregnant, both body and mind are going through a lot of changes. You may need some extra moments of relaxation.
Regular massage during pregnancy have a positive effect on your body and mind. A massage will stimulate blood circulation, reduces water retention and relieves stress and strain.
You receive this massage lying on your sides and back, supported by pillows. They can tilt the table so you will be in a comfortable position. If you have specific needs or wishes, they will happily tailor the massage to your situation.
